The Rural Think Tank

…It's Different Out Here.

About the Rural ThinkTank Podcast and Website…

June 12, 2026 by Brent Lacy

If you are new here, welcome. I did not expect the Rural ThinkTank to have the reach or number of episodes that it has, or the ideas to flow as freely as they have.

My goal and calling is to help as many small and rural churches as God allows me to reach. This website is a small part of it for now. Eventually, I want to flesh out more of the ideas that I have for this space. The ideas tend to come faster than what I have time to devote. I work full-time in the IT industry in the midwest, am a husband of a great wife, and a dad of three kids. I also work to help churches locally where I can. I also write books, and manage the social media for a pair of cats (never thought I would say those words) You can see that if my time were a pie, the slices would start to get pretty thin.

I originally planned a page linking for each episode.

From here on out, I am going to highlight special episodes that could spark discussion, or ones I see as really important.

The rest, you will be able to get where ever you listen to your favorite podcasts (Apple, Google, Spotify, etc.)

Or you can go to Anchor.fm/ruralthinktank and grab all the episodes. While you are there, you can leave a voice message, or join the support team for this ministry effort. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
